While not being a strictly 42nd Battalion Museum, this one, because of it's geographical location has a leaning towards the 42nd Battalion of the different Regiments and Expeditionary Forces. It is supported by the Commanding Officer of 42 RQR and his officers.

They currently have two requests to make of the public.

1. If you have any military memorabilia, photos, artefacts, stories, diaries or any other related matter that you are seeking a good and respectful home for please contact  Bob Butler at the Museum.

If your items are family heirlooms that you don't want to part with make him aware of them and we may be able to scan an electronic image to share your treasure with the world without it leaving your possession.

This is a tremendous way to celebrate the service of YOUR family member.

2. If you served or are serving with 42RQR and you have photographs, stories, anecdotes or anything else to share about YOUR experiences please contact  Bob Butler or Ted Harris and we can make arrangements to ensure that YOUR part of history gets recorded.
A display of some of the artefacts that the museum has will appear here soon.
